Full professional restoration carried out in 2012 by Charles Ware at cost of over £20, 000. At this time a reconditioned 1098cc engine and Ford Type 9 five-speed gearbox were fitted along with brake servo. Car has been kept garaged ever since and has been used sparingly in dry weather.
Bodywork and underside are in excellent order throughout. Interior excellent. 12V cigarette lighter/ adapter, heated rear windscreen and CD radio player. Electronic ignition.
Car drives well, however there is a slight knocking noise when driven at speed/ under load. Cause unknown.
Recently had new tyres, heritage petrol tank, front brake shoes and drums fitted, new head gasket, new pistons and rings and big end bearings.
Some history is included, such as receipts for restoration and correspondence from 2012 together with receipts for all parts bought since that time and full detailed previous keeper records.
