Daimler Conquest New Drophead Coupe (DJ254), Excellent Condition, chassis number 90553, built Dec 1956, registered Aug 1957. The last chassis number of the series of 54 cars.
95, 808 miles, fully restored, original 100 bhp aluminium head engine. Full stainless double exhaust, correct for the car (most are fitted with saloon exhaust). Fitted with 'LiteSteer' power steering and SU electric petrol pump, MotoLita steering wheel, which is only possible with the power steering, which makes access easier. Recent full brake overhaul, rear engine/ gearbox resilient support, fluids change/ check.
Universal white band radial tyres with less than 3000 miles. History file for the past owners from '57 plus bill & receipts back to 1985.
Refinishing the dash covering would improve its appearance. Panel gaps could be better, but are typical of the era and model. Includes matching blue tonneau cover.
