Beautiful MG Midget from a later series equiped with the 1500cc powertrain. Originally delivered in America, and since 1993 registered in Netherlands. The body is still has the 1st layer of paint, the original color Russet Brown. The interior is in very original condition. Delivered from the factory with wire wheels and equipped with a beautiful Amco luggage rack, additionally equipped with double SU carburettors. The car runs and drives perfectly, In original and unrestored beautiful condition. General information: The later built (1975 to 1979) MG Midgets had a 1500 cc Triumph Spitfire engine that still met American standards and a gearbox from the Triumph Spitfire. They also got the rubber bumpers to meet US 5 mph crash requirements. For the USA, the engine was equipped with 1 stromberg carburettor with Catalyst, to meet the strict Californian emission requirements.
