The Bathurst name was chosen to commemorate the Bathurst 12-hour race in Australia, where the RX-7 was victorious for three consecutive years (1992 through 1994) and sales of the Type R Bathurst were purely for the Japanese domestic market only.
Imported by us directly from Japan this rare car has covered just 54, 000 miles (86904km), and there can be no doubt that this this car has been cherished throughout its life as she presents in excellent condition both externally and internally.
Confirming the cars excellent providence are all of the service invoices from Japan which show diligent maintenance at the following intervals. 925km, 6038km, 15318km, 33327km, 41100km, 47888km, 57224km, 68672km, 76609km and 82923km
The car is also supplied with its original book pack including service book, and the spare key still in its original plastic bag.
We're the first to admit that we are massive fans of the FD3 RX7 and believe these stunning sports cars, with their wonderful turbo charged rotary engines, have been criminally undervalued for far too long.
