The Formosa 120GR is inspired by the racing cars of the 1950's. This car is not a replica of any particular marque and therefore avoids any copyright issues such as Aston Martin or Jaguar for example.
This recently finished car is based on a Triumph chassis with a refurbished 1998cc 6 cylinder Vitesse engine. Fitted with new alternator, starter motor, water pump and distributor with an electronic ignition. The twin Carbs have also been refurbished and tuned. Part stainless exhaust which sounds awesome. The 4 speed gearbox has also been refurbished and has an overdrive. New 3 piece clutch fitted with new master cylinder and slave cylinder.
Powder coated wire wheels, with new 205/ 65R15 tyres. Braking system has been overhauled, new calipers, all new pipework, pads, shoes, adjusters master cylinder.
GRP bodyshell finished in metallic grey with pepper white strips. New electrical system with USB charging point and hazard lights and a cutout switch. All lights new. Grey padded ''tuck and roll'' style trim with black seats and black carpet. Wood rim steering wheel. Seats are adjustable so will accommodate a 6ft plus driver comfortably.
The car is correctly registered as a Formosa, and retains its Historic status. It retains its original number, and therefore is tax and MOT exempt, although the car has passed an MOT (30/ 10/ 2021) No advisories, to ensure its roadworthyness.
