Nissan Datsun Y200 Sunny Pickup
Car was imported from Japan in 2018. This means the body is solid with no rust.
Car is mostly original other than the wing mirrors and the added arches and front splitter. These are just plastic and easily removed.
Car has always started with next to no issues. It could do with the steering bushings changed in the near future but working perfectly fine.
The garage that did the last MOT put the distance traveled on as miles although it’s in kilometres so it reads as 57000 miles which is incorrect.
In general is a reliable old machine. When I first got it I used it as a daily runner for around 8 months. Absolutely loved it, took it up north most weekends and never failed to impress. The engine bay looks extremely clean for its age. It was handed in at Japan due to the classic car tax so I never got much history with it. However I wouldn’t be surprised if it had one owner in the 25 years.
The only work that was required was the pickup bed as it was beaten due to tools I can imagine. It was flattened out and sealed so it’s a solid surface now.
From the other Sunny pick ups I’ve seen mine has been in the best condition with the lowest miles. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the lowest amount of miles and best original condition in the Uk.
