A rare opportunity to purchase one of Harley's longest running production models.
As you can see, it's in farmyard condition with excellent patina!
I imported the bike about 3 years ago as a project and have replaced the entire front end with a mixture of new and original parts, rewired completely and overhauled the carb.
The bike starts, runs, drives and selects all gears, although reverse can be a bit of a fight, but I think this is more to do with the linkage rather than the gearbox.
Original 6v generator has been stripped, inspected and rebuilt but stills seems reluctant to work so the easy/ sensible thing to do would be to convert to 12v system.
Bit of an oil leak, but it is over 70yrs old!
Far from standard but still very cool! Ideal as a promotional vehicle etc.
V5 in my name and on age related plate so MOT and tax exempt.
Very reluctant sale.
