Here for sale is an immaculate 4. 7 litre v8 bomb proof Landcruiser Amazon. Utterly reliable. Year 2000.
Full leather. Working everything except the rear view camera. Literally everything else works. Even the adjustable suspension and the elec. Adjustable steering column.
Was resprayed about a year ago. Largely all rustproofed and waxoiled in all the usual places (door panels and boot/ tail gate). The alloy wheels incl. spare were refurbed.
Any service work has been routine.
The interior does show some signs of family (of 5) wear but just needs a good clean. See pics. Roof bars will go with her.
Recent work includes - the horrible large front ball joints renewed. Transmission oil + filter service. New brake shoes and discs all round including handbrake shoes and cable. (not that this really needed doing). Air con re-gassed and in full working order
The service history is almost complete with a file more than an inch thick with all the details. It was an ex-demonstrator from the Toyota Farnham dealer. (Original sales brochure included) Sold to some sort of a property tycoon who sold it to a computer type who then sold it to me.
It has never been off-road and never had a tow-hitch.
There is a large-type Pioneer satnav sound system with a subwoofer and pre-amp installed under the drivers seat. The lumbar adj. Motor had to be disconnected to make way for this.
Currently sorn'd and with an MOT to June '22. I simply dare not calculate what she owes me as i would cry. I'll take £9000. 00.
They just don't make them like this anymore. Nobody ever looks down on you. A really, really lovely vehicle to own and drive. Thanks, Ian
