So, what we have here is without doubt the ‘crème de la crème’ of motorbikes at the time of production - the millemium year of 2000
The four cylinder F4 Strada is essentially the same bike as the prior F4 - 750 limited production ORO, but with aluminium rather than magnesium components. The F4 was designed & crafted by the motorcycle guru Massimo Tamburini - post his previous incarnation of the the Ducatti 916.
The engine is nothing short of a ‘work of art’ - derived from the 1990 Ferrari F1 engine -and was the only engine of its time to feature radial valves. Other unique features were its Trellis frame – upside down Showa forks & fully adjustable Sachs shock absorbers.
How fortunate were we then to be offered this amazing machine that has only had 3 prior owners – the last being some 16 years. The bike has covered a total of only 7, 500 corroborated miles from new & has a current MOT to 09/ 22. There is a detailed history file accompanying the bike, including all MOT certificates since inception, road tests, service records & a plethora of Augusta manuals
