With 91k low mileage for its age, this is a limited edition 1 of only 400 ever made. It has the more powerful 130hp 1. 8 engine, body colour Montego Blue, with 3-spoke carbon steering wheel and original factory fitted alloys. Long MOT till Oct 2022 and no advisories.
This is a very solid car, with no corrosion on the underside, arches or sills. The MOT history shows no record of any serious rust issues. There are a few spots of surface corrosion on the rear wing panels that could be improved. The soft top roof is in excellent good condition, with no tears or damage to the plastic window which is a common issue.
The car drives superb, with smooth gear changes and the exhaust has a great sound. The interior shows signs of wear on both seats and interior trim. It includes a CD/ radio player, has two keys and is fitted with a factory standard immobiliser. This was formerly owned by an MX5 Owner’s club member. The engine bay has no modifications, the original toolkit, spare wheel and tonneau cover are included. This vehicle came with power-steering as standard and includes the original Gleneagles Tartan owner’s pack.
Overall, this an honest example of a rare limited edition MK1 in good condition. It is ready to drive and can be enjoyed on a daily basis.
