It is after complete renovation (during 2013-2017). While having 95% of the original pieces available it still took us more than 3 years to put it back in its original state and look.
(OK, I admit we took it rather slow as we had another fast-running projects but mainly we did not want to compromise on quality of materials and effort invested).
The engine had been rebuilt with new pistons, all major parts (including wheel frames and Schebler HX carburetor) are original. Tank, exhaust pipe, forks and tubes and one footrest are repro parts from renowned Harley specialists from the US and Germany. Receipts are available.
Sidenote: we used dark green leather on the (original) seat frame instead of the original brown colour as it goes nicely with the bike's original green. The headlight is extra (we used an age-matching model) as these bikes were not equipped with headlights.
This is not only a great investment opportunity but also a potential showpiece for any collector. The fact that it is in perfectly running condition goes without saying.
