Yes a Z50Z, not a Mini Trail but a genuine Monkeybike, note on the tank it says Monkey rather than Mini Trail.
50cc and weighs just 55kg (dry I suspect).
Do a search for a Z50Z, these things are super rare, find another for sale, if you can!
So it’s basically a Mini Trail but with the trick removable front end, made to do so to fit in the boots of small Japanese cars.
It has clever throttle & Speedo couplings to allow the separation, and a main stand instead of a side stand, so it can stand up like the Yellow bike ( a library pic)
From the net, “It is a Z50A series based bike. The front parts are detachable and the rear brake was changed from left lever type to right pedal type. It also came with a center stand”
Do some research for yourself, lots of info out there.
It’s road legal, it has a private plate on it and I’ve registered it as “historical” so it needs no MOT ever, and free road tax.
It’s a February 1971 Model, engine and box are fault free, it rides as it should. Tyres were replaced when I had it mot’d (needed an mot to get it road legal) so are like new.
I used it as a garden toy with the grandkids, and other Monkeys, but now it’s time to move it on, the gal is 50 years old !
It comes with Two keys, (one original Honda) , a very expensive and brand new Japanese workshop manual (good pictures) the V5 and a proof of date. Reg number is available via message.
No silly offers please, it’s very carefully priced to reflect its rarity, if it sells great, if not, no problem. I have other Monkeys so no part ex is required.
Condition is as pictured, factory standard and not messed about with, what you see is what you get, collection only.
Faults (1); Headlight won’t turn on, or off (can’t remember).
