A nicely original Triumph 2138cc engine model with 2 seater body.
Shipped to the USA from new - Left Hand Drive.
This car been in my own ownership and in England since year 2010.
UK registered with age related "B" number plate.
This very well travelled car has a comprehensively documented and extremely interesting history file.
The long term ownership from the 1960's to the 1980's of a USA doctor who kept and used the car in many countries including in the USA, Europe and North Africa.
During his ownership he returned the car to the Morgan factory on two occasions. Firstly in 1971 for an engine rebuild and more, then again in 1980 for a complete body and mechanical rebuild and refurbishment. This included a full body-off chassis restoration, new repaint and re-trim.
After some years the car changed hands and has since been the long term property of one other owner, a lawyer who used the car regularly until the year 2010 when I purchased the car and brought back to the UK.
At that time all was in good running and driving condition, the car has remained mostly unused and dry stored since that date.
This car could be used as-is, however it is ready for some cosmetic improvement.
The chassis is the original, it is old and reasonably sound. The body timber frame appears to be in good condition, but there is some bodywork rust predominantly at the lower edge of the body one one side where it meets the rear end of the front wing. There is also paint problems with some severe cracking on the tops of the front wings and bonnet.
This is a very honest and unmolested car, what you see is what you get.
The car has been dry stored and has not been used for time. It runs well and the engine sounds really good, but the brakes are no longer working.
