Description
Lorry was painstakingly stripped to Chassis. New brake adjuster, actuators, shoes and re piped in kunifer. Recon radiator, water pump, propshaft, alternator new shocks.. New oils coolant in everything the lot. Everything was gone over with a fine tooth combe. Steelwork inside cab was renewed in all the bad places and fibre glassed back over. £4k of paint on cab but has crazed in places. Bedford 8T TM half flatbed fitted as no hitch. Scammell hitch sourced but never fitted. A full spares package comes with the truck. Lots of glass, Air valves doors, spare Scammell letters the lot.
Sadly after spending so much time my dad passed away and has sat for the last 2 years. In an open fronted shed. It was restored to last.
Only issues are window winders stiff/ stripped but spares supplied.
Fuel gauge sourcing a Smiths 24v sender was an issue. The new owner can have fun.
I took it for an MOT and was thrown out due to flat bed fitted. Then the MOT exemption shambles. Its taxed and in the historic vehicle taxation.
Only done approx 20 miles since restoration.
I have no time for time wasters or dreamers. With a little work will make a lovely truck again.
