Description
STALLED PROJECT VEHICLE.
Does run and drive.
Gentleman started restoring in 2003 for his daughters wedding but had to stop due to ill health.
This Lea Francis is a rare car. Some early history states that when new it was a Lea Francis works demonstrator, before the war, it was then registered in 1948 and sold to Harvey and Harvey Garage. Then sold back to Lea Francis, where it was retailed to a gentleman.
It has a Lea- Francis twin cam engine.
Within paperwork is a few hand written notes of expenditures, invoices, photographs, ownership and history notes and documents to DVLA for registration.
Since becoming a stalled project, it has spent most of its time in storage.
In 2017 it was bought as a non-runner, the owner got the Lea- Francis running with functioning steering and braking system.
Please note- Unsure of exact registration date. Registered in 1948.
