Lola- LFL 95L is a 1972/ 73 Volkswagen High-top T2 Bay window campervan. We have owned her since 2013.
This RHD, manual, 1584 CC air-cooled beauty has been professionally cared for since 2014, the year she commenced life as a seasonal hire vehicle. Since then, she has been serviced/ oil changed around every 3000 miles. Fuel lines are also regularly changed, most recently in May 2021, with R9 5. 6mm fuel hose and new fuel clips & filter.
Garaged when not on hire and also annually from October to April. Garaged from October 2019- June 2021, due to pandemic.
MOT until 5. 2. 22. Selling as is, to give the new owner a rolling project.
She does need welding on the following corroded parts: panel at top of front crossmember, offside front panel understep/ bottom wing & second from rear crossmember. Her bodywork & paintwork is far from perfect and will also require upkeep, commensurate with her age.
Original VW hubcaps & spare wheel, front mounted.
Original front seats 2x over the shoulder seatbelts in front, 2 x lapbelts in back on what converts to the rock and roll bed.
Two burner smev gas stove, electric coolbox, sink, running water, table (indoor/ outdoor), buddy seat. 240v electric hook-up, with hook-up cable, split charger system (which charges leisure battery while driving) electric sockets, internal lighting, CD/ radio/ aux stereo, DVD player, fire extinguisher & blanket, gas bottle. Full set of made to measure curtains. Propex gas heating system. Annual Gas Safety certificate since 2014. (Except 2020)
Many parts have been replaced during our ownership. No expense has been spared in ensuring this vehicle runs perfectly at all times.
Various mechanical parts were checked in between hires. Furthermore, during the winter each year of hire various mechanical parts were checked cleaned and replaced where required. Including the engine, all brake parts, shoes and drums, gears, clutch, driveshafts, CV joints & boots, wheel bearings, gearbox oil, alternator, distributor cap, rotor arm, auto-choke, carb, fuel pump, spark plugs, starter motor.
That said, it is a historic vehicle and we cannot offer any guarantee on any parts, or any work listed in this advert. The vehicle will be sold as seen.
