Description
It is very seldom that you see a car for sale that has had the same owner for the last 50 years but this excellent Daimler Dart has been in the same hands since 1971.
It underwent a nut and bolt restoration at the turn of the century with bills for over £17K. This work was carried out by a well respected Daimler Dart specialist and a copy of his reports on the work undertaken and a full photo history are included with the car.
This car is basically as it came off Daimlers Radford assembly line in April 1960: It is an A specification car and was originally delivered to a dealer in Nottingham. The only significant changes are the inclusion of a brake servo and the installation of what appear to be Mk 2 Jaguar E type front seats. The original bucket seats will be supplied with the car so this change is easily reversible should the new owner require.
The car is in first class order with good paint and chrome and no obvious items requiring attention. It drives well; the chassis is in very good condition and the worm and peg steering and suspension are functioning correctly. It will receive a full service prior to sale and will have a new MOT for peace of mind.
This is an excellent opportunity to obtain a much cosseted and largely unmolested SP250. Please call for further information.
