We are very pleased to offer a very rare sight on the roads these days and a Jeep that has earned a huge army of admirers and now worthy of Classic Car status. The Suzuki SJ Jeep. We have taken this very original example in part exchange mainly as I have owned a couple in the past and have enjoyed driving this one. Many have simply disappeared and used off road as they are a seriously capable machine on all terrains so finding one that has most of its original paint and decals is rare especially considering this one is now 36 years old. It appears to have an un welded chassis and I can only find two areas on the body that have been repaired which is unusual. I can only assume it has not been used off road ad therefore survived, now it needs preserving.
The engine is very lively and the gearbox all seems functional and precise. In my opinion the tyres currently fitted are not the best for road use and therefore I would advise a softer set as they are notchy on the road, unless of course you plan to take it off road then they are perfect. It is fitted with a hard top and a Suzuki tow bar. It also has a snorkel and a very well presented engine bay. What you do get is a very cool car that no matter where I take it people are instantly drawn to it, could be the fact that its bright yellow or simply as they are very rare.
It has a long MOT and is ready to go, please not that this a part exchange vehicle and is being sold as seen. I would imagine that if your after one of these you will know that it is a very solid proposition with room for improvement and fettling.
