MZ TS 250 Supa5 oily rag. 1981 - W with a shade over 14, 000 miles.
The bike has had the ETZ disc brake modification done as described by Dave Gillespie.
Lots of recent work and parts, New front tyre and tube (Avon 3. 00-18 52P). Front & rear wheel bearings replaced. Alloy wheels in great shape. New Brembo front brake master cylinder kit SP12 fitted, MZ front brake calliper seals replaced. Fresh gearbox oil.
New brake pads. New brake hose. Forks stripped, cleaned with new seals, washers and o’rings fitted. Fresh 5W fork oil.
Crank oil seals (double lip) replaced, Top end gasket set (piston, rings Checked and barrel honed).
New clutch cable, new rev counter cable and bush, new speedo cable. New instrument bulbs in speedo and rev counter. Aftermarket indicators fitted. New headlight and tail bulb.
New spark plug, NGK plug cap, HT lead, Coil, points and condenser.
New chain guard rubbers, fuel tap and filter, ram air air filter fitted (original with rubber available but perished).
Has fresh 12 months MOT is taxed and currently in use. The bike is now 41 years old and registered as historic. Comes with standard original silencer and header/ down pipe or pattern header/ down pipe and expansion chamber.
The frame, exhaust and tin work are original. The petrol tank is clean inside and has not been sealed I’m running Castrol 50:1 premix.
