Near complete Restoration project only requiring fine Detailing and Wiring to complete. Mechanically sound after rebuild but owing to ill health the project was discontinued by my engineering father in approx. 2014. Running as recently as last year. Message me for video and further details.

It was originally from Senegal but was brought to the UK in 2007. Mileage Unknown.
About 81, 000 copies of the Citroën Type C, in several varieties, were manufactured between 1922 and 1926. The design of Edmond Moyet was characterized by an unusually shaped rear, which yielded the car with the nickname "hen's bottom". Noticeable also was that the light (543 kg) and small Type C, at first was only available in yellow, so the car was known as "Petit Citron" (little lemon) too. Oddly enough, the first Type C's only had one door, at the passenger's side because the spare wheel was at the driver's side. This car, with a four-cylinder engine and 11 hp, reached a top speed of 37 mph (60 km / h). An electric starter was standard, so the manufacturer considered the car eminently suitable for female drivers. In 1923 the Type C was succeeded by the two-seater C2. This was built on the same 7 ft. 5 in (2. 25 m) long chassis as the Type C. In 1924 the C3 was launched on a 4 in (10 cm) longer chassis. The C3 was also called "Trefle" (trefoil / clover leaf) and had room for a third person in the back. The suspension used inverted quarter elliptic springs at the front and rear, brakes were only on the rear wheels, controlled by a lever and foot brake. The fuel consumption was about 5 litres per 100 kilometres. Although a great success, the Type C series did not prove to be very profitable. Citroën stopped production of these cars in 1926.
