Probably the most sought after limited edition Exige V6 and this is the last one! There were 81 examples built, with each one commemorating a Team Lotus Formula One win, between Watkins Glen 1961 and this one, Adelaide 2013.
The LF1 has a totally unique appearance, from the gold flecked metallic black paintwork to the red and gold external accents and the gold stitching detail and seat embroidery to the interior; all reminiscent of the Lotus E21 F1 car that powered Kimi Raikonnen to that famous Australian victory that this particular car commemorates. This relationship is further enforced with the commemorative build plaque showing the race win on the dashboard.

Current mileage is just 27600 and the MOT certificate is valid until 31st August 2022. Accompanying the vehicle is the original owners’ pack, complete with stamped service book, all bills and receipts accrued by the current owner and, of course, two keys.
Also with the vehicle is the unique box, containing a selection of otherwise unavailable Lotus F1 Team goodies, including a commemorative book of the LF1, a half size replica drivers’ helmet, a gold key ring and a gold memory stick in the shape of the E21. The previous owner has also acquired some other relevant bits and pieces along the way, including a race cap and t-shirt (size L) still in their original packaging, a model of the E21 (still boxed) and an unraced Scalextric model too. Completing this collection is the official Lotus Cars Certificate of Provenance, confirming this vehicles’ unique position as the very last of the run.
Recent cosmetic work includes the refinishing of the gold wheels, fuel filler surround and rear wing mounts. The extensive application of paint protection film and a ceramic paint coating have preserved the external finish of the vehicle beautifully.
