The Audi TT takes its name from the historical successes of NSU competing at the British Isle of Man TT. The exterior design was both bold and highly distinctive, achieving many design award accolades. Smart Mk. I TT's are becoming increasingly difficult to find in well preserved and un-modified condition. There is a flourishing club support network throughout the UK and Europe catering for the surging enthusiasm for this iconic model.
Our TT sports VW/ Audi’s celebrated 1. 8 turbo 20-valve engine, producing 180 bhp. Despite now being a 20-year-old car, the TT still has a modern feel to it with additions such as a concert sound system, heated seats and remote locking. This example is spec’d in the desirable ‘Denim’ blue paintwork with alloy wheels and black leather interior making it easy on the eye to the admirer. The car generally appears smart despite a notable dent on the nearside arch as well as a few other age related blemishes. Mechanically, the car seems to be well maintained having x17 service stamp entries, last being at 97, 520 miles. Notably, the history file contains evidence of a cambelt kit and water pump replacement at 92, 389 miles totalling £884. 31, 3-piece clutch replacement plus a dual-mass flywheel amounting to £1, 438. 22 and includes three keys.
Quickly becoming sought after, the Mk I TT’s are definitely one to tick off the automotive bucket list before prices rise.
