description: Uk bike declared new at first registration in the uk in november 1981. hpi clear with recent report present. Comes with two original kawasaki keys & a current v5 logbook as pictured. The vin & engine numbers are present & match with the ones on the v5 logbook. There's no old mot's with the paperwork & no records on the gov. uk mot database so it hasn't been on the road, possibly since the road tax expired in november 1990. it was purchased by the previous elderley owner in 2016 with the intenetion of restoring it but the project barely got started. It's been dry stored since then but now unable to ride due to advancing years he decided to sell all his bikes of which this is one. It's mostly complete with some smaller parts missing most noticibly the right side panel, the lower chain cover, right handlebar grip, footrest rubbers, tank cap & fuel tap. The engine kicks over nicely with good compression as you can see in the youtube video link above. It won't start as there's no spark now so we checked the wiring & the plug has been cut off the ignition switch with all the wires disconnected. This would need to be the first job to get it back up & running. The tank looks to have been repainted & is clean inside. The seat has been recovered & the rear tyre looks virtually new. 14, 552 miles showing on the clocks which is most likely correct but can't be verified. Overall with prices rocketing for all 1980's two strokes this rare little bike is a very worthwhile & interesting winter project. Cheap delivery availabe nationwide. Please email for a quote. tyres: Vee rubber rear in very good condition & yokohama front that looks to be in good condition but is probably quite old.
