Purchased as a Christmas Gift for a Lancashire lady on 19th December 2002, this lovely Limited Edition MX5 Montana has been evidently cherished throughout its' life since. I say 'evidently' due to its' superb original condition and comprehensive original service records and many invoices contained in the complete Handbook Pack and accompanying file. After cherishing the car, the file shows the next Owner was also a lady, from Salisbury, who acquired the Montana in 2010 and maintained it meticulously until 2018, every invoice and Service Book stamp plain to see up to 56, 000 miles. 2 mature gentlemen and 9, 000 miles later and I'm now selling her (at 73 years of age) with considerable reluctance.
Without boring you with a huge list, this very scarce guaranteed Classic (less than 100 now on the road) has the best MX5 specification for the era with many (then) luxury appointments and some optional enhancements:

Not only is the paintwork excellent, the Alloy Wheels and Tyres are likewise. The Interior is beautiful, quite remarkable. If you want this model without the usual irritating Drivers seat wear, you've found it, and you won't find another so good! These seats are now unobtainable, and car trimmers cannot match the original colour. Another rarity is the matching light tan Hood cover, also now unobtainable, so neat and tidy with the hood lowered. The black mohair good is also in fine order, having been recoloured by Renovo and freshly water proofed towards the end of 2021.
Underneath, the Montana has had extensive attention in recent times: new suspension arms, work to renew the sills and floor pan as necessary, all completed to high standards and more recently cleaned, painted and undersealed for peace of mind. The car has been winterised over the last quarter and the new battery recently trickle charged. The engine and gearbox are so smooth in operation and the all important Cambelt was changed at 56000 miles, so no worries there.
A full checkover service including new brake pads, discs and calipers, along with a fresh MOT has just been completed last week with No Advisories. Fresh from the Garage she is a joy to drive and full of that MX5 urge and pure enjoyment behind the wheel which mere statistics do not convey!
Although Mileage alone is never a reason to buy or not, (high or low), this Montana has been used sparingly at just over 3000 miles per annum, 2 ladies up to 56, 680 miles. I acquired the car from a retired Civil Servant, and as a retired magistrate, i'm no boy boy racer, as such I can confidently state it's had an easy life, and looks it too.
