Early mk1 Cabriolet finished in rare Polynesian turquoise, Honda engine, manual, Extensively restored. 12 months MOT
Owned & garaged for over 10 years, originally bought to use every day, however the car was already old and began to deteriorate after about 12 months, then it came to MOT time in which it failed on various items. I then decided to take it off the road and garage it, and the the restoration began.
Since late 2013 I rented a lockup and gradually restored it bit by bit, most jobs were done by professionals and I did the easy stuff.
And then in april 2020 i took it first MOT in 7 years which it passed with flying colours, and it has been back on the road ever since.
The list of repairs/ improvements I have done is endless:

I have bills & receipts for alot of the work. Im sure there is more I have done but I can't list it all.
Some items could do with some atttention as follows:
* Interior headliner does not correctly fit around the rear window.
* Cambelt is probably due, even though it has done very little miles since it was last done it is due on time. I do have the kit for it which I can have fitted for the buyer if they are serious.
* Inner rear wheel arch could do with some underseal (the car never goes out in the rain so I never got round to doing it)
* The engine bay is a little dirty in places, I'm scared to clean it and get water into the wiring/ connectors. It is however a very honest engine bay.
* The aerial connector behind the radio is not plugged in, the connectors are not the same. However the CD & I-pod connector work fine.
I feel now is the time to sell the car as I have done what I can with it, a rough guess in what I have spent is around £6500. I am finding I dont have time anymore and I very rarely use it or go to shows, since alot of the work It has only done just under 2000 miles. I am so busy with work these days and other commitments it would now be better if someone else could take over and enjoy more than me. It really is ready to go and pretty much future proofed.
This is a very difficult decision for me, however i feel it is time to move on.
It really is a stunning car and never fails to turn heads, you find people stopping you at the light complementing the car. I once had someone follow me across Bolton just so he could have a closer look.
There must be less than 20 Mk1 cars left in this colour, it is an extremely rare car.
I am asking £2995, Please do contact for for more photos & info as there is many more. I have included the best general photos, more detailed photos available.
