1947 Nash Ambassador Suburban: 60 Series, Body Style No. 4764, 595 built. Nash Motors added the wood-paneled sedans for 1946-1948 to the Ambassador 60 Series. The wood-paneled body style exampled by the Chrysler Town & Country convertibles and sedans, Ford and Mercury Sportsman convertibles and of course wood-bodied station wagons were in their last years of production before being superseded by the metal-bodied models.
