Welcome to the sale of an exceptional Austin Healey Sprite that has had just six owners and covered a warranted 30, 000 miles from new that Milestones had the pleasure of selling three years ago.
Registered in London on 1st August 1971 and finished in Bronze Yellow with matching factory hardtop/ black interior this remarkably original car has clearly been cherished by the previous owners, the two previous owners were engineers who recognised the integrity and cherished the originality of this rare Sprite.
On the road the car is one of the best driving AH Sprites that we have had through Milestones. The car starts instantly with excellent oil-pressure, accelerates briskly through the gears making all the right noises and simply handles like it is on rails – the essence of a classic sports car.
The 1970’s Bronze colour scheme, my personal favourite, presents extremely well with a deep shine and a superb patina that simply cannot be replicated during a restoration. The rare factory hard-top is in exceptionally good condition with the hood available underneath should you wish to revert to open-top motoring.
The history file contains all MOTs since July 1976, Heritage Certificate, invoices, and original handbook.
