According to the original service book on file for this Assetto Corsa model, chassis ZAMAA38D* the details below was originally registered to the dealer HR Owen of South Kensington, London, in September 2001. Presumably used for demonstration purposes, the first private owner acquired the car in March 2002, and as they lived in Battersea, south London, they continued to have HR Owen look after the car for them.
Two further owners followed who both resided in suburbs of north London, and the car continued to be maintained by HR Owen and recognised specialists. The current enthusiast and central London based owner acquired the 3200 in June 2014, and we have maintained it regularly for them since May 2016.
Fastidiously cared for and maintained during the current ownership, although the car was in good condition the paintwork had a few minor imperfections so we were commissioned to carry out a complete repaint of the car in early 2017. As the windscreen and rear side windows had been removed to perfect the finish, new items were fitted during the reassembly of the car.
Each of the 75 Assetto Corsa models supplied to the UK market had a numbered plaque attached to the dashboard, and number 20 is presented in excellent condition with a thick file of invoices and previous MOT certificates to support the ownership and maintenance history of the car. Few 3200’s have been maintained to such a high standard, and having covered just 62, 500 recorded miles from new, this is an example we are delighted to offer for sale.
