Beautiful 1991 Lancia Delta HF Integrale
When the four-wheel-drive Group A homologation Delta HF 4WD was introduced in 1986 a true legend was born.
With flared arches, quad headlights, vented bonnet, and sitting on distinctive Cromodora alloy wheels, the little Lancia looked fantastic and every part of the rally championship it turned out to be.
Under the skin Lancia went to town adding a Garrett T3 turbocharger and 16 valve head to the venerable Lampredi designed twin cam engine, whilst power was transmitted to the road via a four-wheel drive system with a sophisticated Torsen rear differential.
Performance was sensational with the turbocharged two-litre Lancia 16v engine producing 200 bhp at 5, 500 rpm, for a maximum speed of 137 mph and 0-62 mph in 5. 7 seconds, whilst the handling was praised by all who drove the car with Car magazine calling the Integrale “The Greatest Hot Hatch”. It’s results in the World Rally Championship say it all: the HF Turbo 4WD won in 1987 (GpA and GpN), the Integrale in 1988, the 16v in ’89, ’90 and ’91, the Evo in ’92.
Our car was originally sold at home in Italy in 1991 and imported to the UK in 2004. A lovely low mileage example having covered a shade over 47, 000 miles (76, 000km), and finished in gleaming “Blanco”, the car is in genuinely lovely condition and will stand close scrutiny for the most exacting of buyer.
The interior is in equally nice order with the benefit of the later EVO Recaro seats being fitted whilst the dashboard, door cards and carpets are unmarked and in first class order.
Contained within the huge history file is the original handbook, a large number of invoices from renowned Integrale specialists such as John Whalley and Walkers Garage, a selection old MOT’s, whilst a new MOT has recently been carried out and passed without any advisories.
Before delivery this delightful Integrale will be fully inspected and serviced in our workshop and supplied with a fresh MOT.
