I have Acquired the car from 82 year old gentleman who used his car for a regular trips to Monaco.
I paid for the professional pre purchase inspection to make sure there are no hidden unwanted surprises.
Despite car having 5 previous owners there were only 2 owners between 1990 and 2021.
For most of the past 30 years car sat in the garage due to the illness of the previous owner.
When he passed away his family decided to sell the car to SJ Sport Cars which is a lotus specialist.
Car went through the mechanical restoration process which costed in excess of £6000. This included power steering.
Car was then sold to the person I bought it from.
In 2017 Lotus was Professionally valued and its market value at the time was £19000. Copy of the valuation available.
Since the Acquisition in 2015 car had various repairs carried and they are all documented.
In December 2021 belts full service and MOT was carried.
Car passed its MOT without any advisories.
Mechanically car is in very good condition. I spent £1000 recently on few little things that needed attention.
Body work is in good condition for its age. I wanted to refurbish the alloys and there are couple of marks on the rear bumper that need sorting out.
Nothing major but if I was to keep it I would sort it out.
