1955 Moto Parilla 175 Turismo Special / Lusso Veloce.
I bought this bike in March 2020 as a lockdown project. It was in poor condition and needed complete refurbishment. However, it was also very complete and original, including all Parilla branded knobs, adjusters and mascot.
It has now had a thorough overhaul including the following items:
- Repainted in original colours with sealed tank.
- All plated parts re-chromed and alloy polished.
- Powder coated frame / swing arm etc
- New wheel rims / tyres / zinc plated spokes / bearings.
- Hard chromed fork sliders / new bronze bushes
- Hard chromed swing arm pivot machined to bushes
- NOS Piston, Valves, Guides, Springs, Gearbox parts Cam Chain Tensioner.
- VAPE 12v electrical system including 12v Alternator and Electronic Ignition.
- New wiring loom / headlight reflector.
- New Exhaust, Seat Cover, rubber parts.
I planned to use the bike on the Moto Giro D’Italia, but I can’t see that happening now. Offered for sale at £5, 750. V5 in my name. Bike is in Cheltenham, UK.
