Mercedes Benz 350SL finished in Silver with Black interior, first registered 19/ 02/ 1975 so one of the first of this model. A history file is present with previous work shown, the Mercedes is tax exempt and MOT exempt. The car drives smoothly with a good gearbox and engine, The car has been stood over the last couple of years but starts fine and runs and drives. There is an invoice for engine overhaul in the last few years so should be perfect with a full servuce.
The bodywork is in decent condition but with some slight imperfections. I would describe the car as a good usable car and with a little extra work in the future it could make a fine example.
The history shows that the Mercedes has spent some time in Spain but kept registered in the UK which has helped with its fight against corrosion underneath. The bodywork and chassis are all solid with no fabrication work or panel work required. There are details of the previous owners and old MOT certificates and the car has had 4 tyres recently fitted.
