Description
The van is fitted with a lift top and when raised gives plenty of headroom I am 6ft tall and have no problem with standing up. It comes with a relatively new fridge, twin burner gas hob powered by a gas cylinder in cupboard below, next to the hob is a sink and below the van is the inboard water tank. It has a range of cupboards that are dated but still functional. Inside the seats are comfortable and covered by new fabric throws under which is plenty of storage. The seating converts into a double bed. 240 volt electric is fitted but has been disabled as I feel it should be re-installed. Comes with a free standing awning making it far more spacious, and a toilet tent with a portable toilet. The van is powered by a 1725cc engine that is in very good condition, it does not use oil or water, a compression test carried out on 9/ 9/ 21 gave good readings that were level on all 4 cylinders. I have spent a lot of money on the van upgrading the engine converting it to run on a Weber carburetor making it easier to start, run smoothly and economical. It has electronic ignition, new coil, plugs and leads and distributor cap. A new clutch master and slave cylinder has been fitted. I have also fitted brand new suspension all round which was re-manufactured to the original specification, this included rear leaf springs with shock absorbers front springs with shock absorbers. almost new tyres all round with a good spare. Body and paintwork is generally good but has a few marks and scratches that comes with the age of the van it basically just need a little bit of tlc. The van gets a huge amount of interest when out and about and is happy on long journeys and will cruise all day at 55mph with good economy.
