Rare opportunity for sale, early 1938 all steel bodied SS for restoration. The car has some early features such as: ashtrays in the arm rests instead of the rear doors, big glove box as shown in early illustrations of the interior from the factory. The car is 98% rust free with original Gunmetal paint. The SS was featured in the Alan Crouch books on page 64 and 65. With the early differences shown on the car SS only made just over a thousand 3. 5 Litre saloons, drop head coupés and chassis, 542 of these were 3. 5 litre saloons with only 14 of those being known to exist today. Plus not many of those will be in such rust free condition. The SS is an all numbers matching car and is an early steel body example.
