Description
1938 RHD SS 3. 5 litre Drophead Coupe: Good condition overall and a very rare car with some original sales paperwork. This car is ostensibly complete and original, but it is not 100% correct. It has the right SS 3. 5 litre engine, but not the original one – thus it is not a matching numbers car. The rear bumper is wrong and the steering wheel centre is from a Mark IV, so does not have the advance/ retard lever. The mileage of 50, 000 shown is just because the field cannot be left blank - have no idea as to the true mileage. The car was taken off the road and de-registered in the late 1960’s, but has now been refurbished and runs and drives well. However, the owner (based in Cape Town) is keen to sell as he has no room and no funds to finish the car – hence the low price.
