“Collection by Vermant” is delighted to be able to present you this beautiful Jaguar XK V8. This XK was delivered new on the 5th of January 2010 to its first owner. In December of 2010, it came into the possession of its second and final owner till now. This XK is equipped with the extremely rare 5L V8 engine, producing a healthy 385 horsepower. This power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6 speed automatic gearbox, resulting in very smooth gearshifts. Paddle shifters are also present behind the steering wheel, should manual shifting be desired by the driver.
When looking at the exterior, we can find a beautiful grey coloured metallic paint. This is in very good condition with only minimal signs of use. In the front, we can find the distinctive Chrome Jaguar Grille with the emblem proudly present in the middle. On the side, we can find a beautiful 10 spoke 19” wheel. These have been finished in Silver to complement the Chrome details on the car, but still keep the car subtle. When looking at the rear of the car, we can find a small yet useful spoiler on the boot lid. This gives the car a more sporty feel, but keeps it subtle. Continuing on the back, we can find the two polished exhaust tips, distinctive for the V8 version. When opening the engine compartment we can find a very clean engine bay. This is almost in new condition and shows the level of care that was taken in maintaining the car by the previous owner.
When looking at the interior, we find a beautiful Beige leather interior. This has been beautifully preserved and is in excellent condition throughout. The interior really shows the level of detail and lavishness Jaguar used to have back in the day. Every single interior item is finished in high quality materials. The dashboard is finished in a combination of beige leather and shiny dark wood inlay. This inlay continues on the door panels, steering wheel and the center console. The seats of the car are not only heated, but are also fully electrically operated and have multiple memory functions. Infotainment wise, the car was very advanced for the period. It has been equipped with cruise control, heated seats, full keyless entry and keyless start, gps, Digital radio and a high performance Bowers and Wilkins sound system. Furthermore, this car has the ability to seat 2 people in the back, or when not used a windstopper can be installed to make open top driving more pleasant for the front seat occupants. The original storage bag for the wind stopper is still present with the car.
This fully optioned XK has been well looked after for throughout the years and is ready to be enjoyed by a new and caring owner for many more years to come!
