Super original 54k mile T25 single cab which was converted to a house a tischer demountable camper van shell early in its life, the Tischer demountable unfortunately perished some years ago but left behind this super original extremely solid pick up. The truck has never seen a commercial load and the drop sides spent circa 30 years in storage. The cab is loaded with optional extras including desirable Westfalia captains seats and full brown interior. The large rear window now redundant unless you wished to create your own camper conversion but easily removable via a couple of clips for those hot summer days and easy access onto the rear bed. The engine has covered around 54k miles since new with paperwork to prove including receipts to show the original speedometer was replaced by VW under warranty with a new unit currently showing 34k miles. In the last 6 months the pick up has had a new camshaft and shims, cam belt and water pump and new injection hard fuel lines. The underside is in amazing condition for its age with all the usual T25 worry areas solid for many years to come with most still sporting the original factory paint or underseal. The underlocker is accessible from both sides and is also in amazing condition and looks almost as if its has just left the factory. The windscreen was treated to a new high quality seal last year and some very slight remedial work was carried out to the D/ S corner of the windscreen (pictures before during and after can be provided). The bed of the truck has some small dings and scratches but has never seen a commercial load and still has some of the original wooden slats fitted. As mentioned earlier the dropsides are in great condition with only minor marking and all original rubber buffers and handle trims. The dropsides were stored for the majority of the pick ups life and were only refitted easy last year. The trucks running standard steels and standard commercial tyres with plenty of tread. The truck comes with 12months MOT (may 2022) the tracking was done the same time as the MOT. Everything that should work on the pickup does. The only component that doesn’t is the interior fan. However the heating still works and the cab gets really toasty. This really is a special truck and I will be sad to see it go its brought me so much enjoyment and I smile every time I drive it.
