Currently on a set of 16 inch alloys with tyres ranging from fairly well worn to almost new and also has a full set of 5 x 17 inch alloys with tyres included in the price and has a brand new battery fitted.
The car has been standing on our driveway now for just under 3 years but has been started and run regularly. Both myself and the previous owner only used the car as a second vehicle and up until it stopped being used, we both maintained the car meticulously. I only stopped using it due to the arrival of a new car and just never got round to selling it.
Both the interior and exterior of the car are in really good condition all round commensurate with the low mileage. The bodywork has a the odd very very minor mark (a few small stone chips and a couple of small scuffs) but with no panel damage at all, and there is a very small patch of fading the rear near side door which doesn’t really show unless you look for it (can’t supply a photo as is so slight the camera can’t pick it up).
As you would expect, having been standing, the brakes will need a little sorting. They will stop the car but are not as sharp as they should be and are a bit clunky. (The last MOT gave an advisory on the brakes with all work being completed shortly after) so may just need a little tlc rather than a full replacement.
There is a small area of rust on each side of the car between the sills and the rear wheel arches. (pictured). It also needs 3 new wiper blades.
I’m not a mechanic but from what I can see, absolutely everything else works as it should.
The car starts first time every time, ticks over perfectly when cold or hot, the gears all change smoothly and when they should, kickdown is fine, as are the electrics and all the bells and whistles appear to be working perfectly.
As you can see from the photos, it is in really very nice condition all round and only requires a little tlc to bring it back up to it’s former glory and with Saab prices rapidly increasing for good low mileage ones, with the work done will easily be worth a lot more than my asking price.
