1994 Land Rover DEFENDER 110 TDI 2495cc TURBO Diesel 4x4 Manual 5 Speed
This Defender should be a project buy. It’s had a new chassis in 2015 (see photos), and over 5k of work by the previous owner. I would take it apart and rebuild to maximise the resale value. The top of the engine bay bulkhead is badly corroded but other than that, BASIC, its only mechanical bits to pass a MOT. The door windows do not wind down and the rear door key is missing. Rare RR darkened rear side glass has been fitted.
The engine starts first time and sounds good. All gears seem to work OK. New LED lights fitted (see Receipts below).

Removed body and checked over for parts required. Removed engine and gearbox.
Stripped down chassis and carried out repairs to rear axle. Replaced spring seats on front and rear axles. Build up on new chassis fitting new bushes and joints as needed. Re-fit engine and gearbox onto new chassis. Fitted new springs and shock kit. Replaced brake callipers, fit props and make up rear axle metal brake pipe. Replaced radiator and replenished antifreeze content. Replaced leaking power steering pipes and replenished power steering fluid. Replaced leaking fuel filler neck. Re-fit body back onto chassis. Fit new wiring to rear and cut off old part of tow bar. Fit new towbar parts to chassis and wired up 7 pin socket. Replaced front wiper blades and fitted new park switch. Bleed brakes and tested ok.
