1978 Kawasaki Z1000 A2
Please find my immaculate Z1000 purchased from a private collection some time ago and now for sale. The bike is unrestored and original.
The only non-standard parts is the four into four exhaust system (it should be a 4-2), paintwork, seat cover and tyres, everything else is as the bike left the factory in 1978. The exhaust is a quality re-engineered version which I prefer to the 4-2 in any case and the paintwork has been completed to a very high standard. The tank is very clean inside.
The bike is unrestored and original. The frame, fasteners and chrome work are all like brand new. The forks are unmarked with the legs still showing their original lacquer, no rust on the stanchions. No rust or damage of any sort, anywhere on this motorcycle.
As you would expect for a motorcycle of this level of presentation, the bike starts and runs well, everything works as it should, the bike is ready to ride with no work required. The motor is quiet and the oil light drops off on start up without any drama.
No gravel rash to the exhaust, bar ends, pegs or levers.
The original Takasago wheel rims are free of rust and have good chrome, the spokes are very clean and both tyres are good also. The bike even has the original warranty note in the tailpiece document holder.
The bike was originally a USA import before standing on display in a private collection, the bike is now on a UK age related plate. Showing only 9000 miles, although the mileage cannot be guaranteed for any used motorcycle, the condition of the bike does support the mileage.
This motorcycle is in exceptional condition, if you are looking for something pretty special you will not be disappointed
