The car has a very interesting history, being originally supplied from a VW Audi dealership in Brussels.
The original bill of sale is included with the history file and was sold with all the extras on 13th February 2003 for a total cost of €21, 842. 20 euros.
It’s owner for the majority of its life worked for the European Union.
There is a large A4 history file with the car including MOT certificates, service invoices and original VW handbook and model guide.
In May this year I had a brand new SACHS clutch kit and dual mass flywheel fitted. The clutch wasn’t slipping but the flywheel had become noisy due to age and so I had the whole kit replaced.
The cambelt was replaced on 2nd April 2022 at 57, 382 miles.
The interior is in lovely condition with the original stereo and CD player present.
The seats are in excellent condition.
The car drives extremely well. The gear box is tight and precise and the car pulls strongly in all gears.
There is no rust on the bodywork. As expected it has some minor marks and scuffs for its age but it is extremely solid with no damage or corrosion to the sills.
It has a long MOT which runs until 21st March 2023 with no advisories.
It has new discs and pads all round.
This is a car I was not expecting to be selling and had planned to keep long term.
The car regularly returns 50+ miles to the gallon and is still in daily use so the mileage will increase slightly.
Please note the car will be sold on its original alloy wheels and not the GTI wheels as shown.
