This beautiful vehicle was ordered by myself on the day it was revealed and launch at goodwood in 2017. As one of a limited edition of just 60 produced to celebrate the end of the 60th anniversary year of the lotus 7, this car was designed to emulate the "gentleman driver" of the 50's who would drive to the track, paint on a competition number, race and drive home. The car was registered on 1st sept 2018 and has very low mileage of only 166 miles. Resplendent in "dijon blue", with sponsor decals and white roundels, the car is powered by a 95bhp turbocharged suzuki unit of 660cc, ensuring a more than adequate power-to-weight ratio (approx 170 bhp/ ton). transmission is 5 speed with limited slip differential.
The car was specified with the traditional twin brookland aero screens to retain the more traditional retro look, optional lowered floor, twin seater mohair tonneau cover and stainless steel wing guards. Useful standard items include a bespoke battery master switch, push button start and msa-approved 4 point race harnesses. Additionally the bilstein-equipped suspension system has adjustable platforms for the ideal set-up. This car is lovely to look at and delightful to drive. It will always put a smile on your face!
Cherished plate (DB53CSS) which has been put on retention is not included in the sales price, however can be part of any negotiations if desired.
