The Honda CR-Z was designed to be a the first hybrid sports car, mixing the benefits of a hybrid petrol electric power unit with the joy of a sporty hatchback.
With its retro futuristic design both inside and out the CR-Z is certainly an interesting car to look at and something that will turn heads. The car takes many design cues from the CR-X of the 1980s but with a more modern approach.
This particular car is powered by 1. 5 litre I-VTEC petrol engine twinned with an electric motor - These two power units work in unison as Hondas IMA system. This is a reliable setup that has been used since the first generation Insight albeit with some tweaks along the way. Being a sports coupe at heart the car is of course equip with a 6 speed manual transmission, as it should be.
