Fantastic 1975 MG B GT Sebring Replica having undergone an incredible nut and bolt restoration carried out to a very high standard.
Excellently finished in British racing green and complimented by an equally well-done interior consisting of freshly trimmed leather seats, new door cards and a clean like new dash and instruments. In addition, the faired in headlights, wide wheel arches filled with 15” Minilite Design wheels and an aero quick release fuel filler cap, complete this vehicle’s subtle Sebring look.
Both mechanically and cosmetically this example is exceptional, and the quality is second to none. The restoration was carried out by a MG restorer of 30 years, with works starting in 2012 and completed in 2016.
Under the bonnet is a fully rebuilt 1. 8 MG engine by well-known specialists Ivor Searle. Various upgrades include open air filters, adjustable Gaz rear shock absorbers, roll-cage, Oselli rocker cover, electric cooling fan conversion, upgraded exhaust system, light flywheel.
Importantly, during the rebuild it was decided to enlarge the gearbox tunnel as well as other modifications to allow a Rover V8 engine and a LT77 gearbox to be fitted.
