We are delighted to present this 1981 MG MGB GT Limited Edition, one of just 580 cars built to mark the end of MGB production. Believed to be production number 6 (chassis 031006), it is one of the earliest produced. Finished in Pewter Grey Metallic, exclusive to the GT LE, it retains its factory-original paintwork and has covered just 45, 140 miles from new.
Powered by the 1. 8-litre B-Series engine with the desirable four-speed manual gearbox and overdrive, it delivers the classic MGB driving experience. With its refreshed suspension and bushes, this car feels tight, responsive and ready to be enjoyed.
The car remains remarkably original, featuring its 13” Dunlop alloy wheels, factory front chin spoiler, LE side stripes and correct badging. Inside, the grey cloth upholstery and dashboard are in excellent condition, complemented by the heated rear window, rear fog lamp and period stereo. Importantly, there have been no aftermarket modifications.
