Here for sale is my Citroen Saxo Forte 1. 1 L petrol. The car is in excellent condition for 22 years old as it's only covered 53997 miles from new. It's original and has always been well maintained and garage stored for most of it's life. The bodywork is clean and rust-free with a couple of age-related imperfections. The paintwork is as new and the underside and sills are rot-free too. There is a small dent under the drivers wing-mirror.
The car drives like new. It's quick, light, easy to drive and handles like a go-kart. The engine pulls strong and the gear changes are smooth. It’s small and easy to park; it would make a perfect first car.
As it's the Forte model, it features patterned seats and door cards, multicoloured seat belts, a yellow gear knob and yellow door locks. The windows, sunroof and mirror adjusters are all manual; as are all the door locks. There is no power steering nor air conditioning on this model.
I have recently renewed both front brake calipers, pads and brake hoses. The car has been serviced and is on four brand new matching tyres. The spare wheel is unused and the jack is present. The timing belt is original however after visual inspection looks to be ok. I do have a new belt, water pump and alternator belt that will be included in the sale.
I am selling it as it doesn't get much use as I don't drive much anymore. It would make a great starter classic or a first car as the insurance prices are very cheap.
MOT is due February 2023.
