For sale is my 1962 AJS model 16, 350cc motorcycle. I bought this bike with the intention of using it as a basis for a Matchless G50CSR replica, but she's far too nice and original to mess her about. This is a rare motorcycle, having the short stroke (for AMC) motor with a 74mm bore, which was only made for 2 years (1962 and 1963) before the 72mm bore scrambler based engine was introduced in 1964.
Her Chrome is in excellent condition, and her black enamel is very good. She has been converted at some time to 12v, but otherwise looks to be in an unmolested and original condition.
She's an easy starter, charges well and doesn't smoke or leak oil. All in all, she's a lovely little thing and will give her next owner great service and a lot of pleasure!
