Here we have an extremely rare Talbot Avenger 1600 GL. She is extremely solid after having rust inhibitor injected into most cavities from new. She recently went through an MOT test and passed after needing just a ball joint, 2 track rod ends and 2 flexible brake hoses on the front. There are 64, 000 miles on the clock and although there isnt much history it looks genuine to me. The car is not perfect by any means but for a 40 year old car she is in extremely good condition. The car has had 4 new tyres fitted and only driven 500 miles on them. The seats are from a GL Avenger but in grey, I do have the original 2 front seats and the bottom of the back seat which are in the original colour (honey), these will come with the car if i receive asking price. The car is ready to drive away she starts and stops as she should. She would benefit from a rad flush and a good polish but apart from that everything works as it should and for a 40 year old car looks ok. if you are looking for a ready to use classic then this one would fit the bill. she quite happily sits at 70 mph on the motorway. She is fitted with a new old stock retro cassette player, i will also throw in some 80's compilation cassette tapes. the car is Tax & MOT exempt.
