Description
This is the basis of a pre war Morris Special.
It needs someone with imagination and workshop facilities etc.
I was going to build it as a replica of the type of Special seen at Prescott Hill using very basic tools(and knowledge)
Comprising a prewar Morris chassis with a Morris 10 v5 though its quite a long chassis which may or may not be as v5.
The engine is MG T Series XPAG which is in nice condition mated to an MG Gearbox.
It has its starter motor turning the engine over , also distributor, there are a pair of SU Carbs, reconditioned ready to fit and original MG exhaust manifold.
There is a propshaft which needs shortening, as can be seen the engine is set well back as it was going to be a single seater for hill climbing...
Morris 10 radiator fitted will need attention, however rest of it solid and sound
Brakes fitted but not handbrake, umbrella type with it and other spares.
Lots of work but will make a great special.
