1967 Daimler V8 250 in time warp condition. The car sat for around 40 years undisturbed due to bereavement but due to loss of storage the car had to be sold which is when I purchased it. It has been sympathetically recommissioned while maintaining its originality and is now up and running with a fresh MOT.
The car has never had any welding and doesn’t need any. The paintwork is all believed to be original as well as the interior also. This has got to be one of the most original examples of a Daimler V8 250 around.
The car has had a new stainless steel exhaust fitted as well as a new battery, oils and filters. The car drives beautifully and the gearbox is smooth. The car had an advisory for pitted rear discs but I have new rear discs to go with the car.
The car is very presentable but is not a concourse example. There are plenty of restored examples around and any car could be restored with enough time and money but you only get originality once which unfortunately most examples have lost. If originality is what you’re after there can’t be many more opportunities left like this!
